Hello you helpful people

Any tips on building up a client base? I am really keen to work from home but am already busy and need to find a really efficient way of getting business. Cold calling is time consuming, can anyone suggest anything in addition please?

    My business was pretty much built up solely from this website in my first few years. I rarely use it nowadays, although I do still subscribe. There are a huge number of potential clients registering with the site every day. If I had the time I would still be using it to gain clients.

    I built most clients up from word-of-mouth. I did have a lineage advertisement in the "Thomson Local" which brought in some business. I also advertised in a charity newsletter. I wouldn't suggest cold calling or expensive advertising. Your client base will build up if you do a good job at a sensible price. Good luck!
