Skills tests

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this and was wondering if anyone could send me a link as to what exactly the skills tests involve for diploma pathway.
Is there a requirement to sit an exam? Or is it more along the lines of a project? Who assesses this?
I'm asking as I'm working in a financial role but on a fixed term contract and will be leaving soon so I'm keeping it under wraps - I wouldn't really be able to get evidence from my employer... Is this going to create a problem.
Any help/clarification would be much appreciated.
Louise

Re:Skills tests
There are samples of the skills tests on the AAT website.

I did mine at work, it involves nominating a supervisor who takes receipt of the test, they are then responsible for making sure you take the test under controlled conditions. At the end of the allocated time they will have the paper from you and return it for marking. I am doing the Diploma via distance learning, and had my skills test marked by my dedicated tutor.
When I did my Unit 31 skills test I needed access to a PC with Word, Excel and Sage, so took my own laptop into the assessment with me.0 -

Thanks for this.
Is it possible to use workplace evidence? Or is it necessary to do the AAT set simulations?
Thanks again,
