Hi

Does anyone know how to calculate opening and closing stock on the balance sheet?

    Can you be a bit more specific? The closing stock figure at the year-end would be the value of the stock in the balance sheet also - the entries being:

    Credit closing stock in the income statement;
    Debit stock in the balance sheet.

    Is this what you want?

    I think so, I am having awful trouble on Unit 15 Operating Cash Management and Credit Control, can you recommened any books that might help me at all? thank-you

    I'm not quite sure which books would be helpful, but I'm sure there are other contributors that can point you in the right direction.
