I have financial accounting as one of the modules and I have got this particular exercise to solve. I would be hightly grateful if any one could respond to my query.

    Is this an assignment question you have been given by your lecturer?
    And are you asking for someone else to work out the answers for to submit?

    xyzia, I am sure you must understand that ethical behaviours are very important for accountancy students and especially for AAT students where ethics are part of the training. We would not be performing our duties ethically if we thought we were providing an answer that you would then submit as your own.

    Once you have confirmed that this is not the case, I am sure we can help.

    One more thing, what is the opening cash/bank balance held by Adam to get the business off the ground?

    Just to echo what Sandy Hood has said - I think it is also worth mentioning that whilst most contributors on this site will be more than willing to help with a problematic question - doing a question such as this is a somewhat unreasonable request.

    The forums are here as a means of support but are not here to do the homework for students.

    If you are struggling with these styles of questions, I would suggest speaking to your tutor to resolve your difficulties.
