Evidence for Portfolio

I have started pulling together evidence for my portfolio, as I went straight in at intermediate level I'm not 100% sure what it should contain.
I am able to get some evidence from my job and have done some witness statements etc
But are you able to put in exercises from the lessons as evidence after it has been looked at by your tutor? Such as with Unit 7 we rarely use graphs at work, if ever, so will only have the examples from class to put in...
