ECR exam paper dec 05

Hi can anyone help?

I've been doing exam papers all day & I am stuck on dec 05 task 2.3

The question asks for labour hours per unit for exe wye & zed the answers say 0.5 0.4 & 0.4 but I can't work out how to get there does anyone have an explanation? Much appreciated :001_smile:

Its actually december 03 ECR paper

Start withthe additional data before task 2.1
Product................ Exe............................Wye.........................................Zed
Unit contribution..£17.50..........................£15.00....................................£12.00

Then we know the direct labour hours
................1,000hrs/2,000 units................1,200 hrs/3,000units ................2,000hrs/5,000 units

or per unit................0.5hrs....................................0.4 hrs.......................0.4hrs

From this point divide the contribution per unit by the hours per unit to get the contribution per labour hour
