Intermediate Portfolio

Hi,
I have just completed my technician level and am looking forward to becoming a full member, but I have a little problem. I did not complete the portfolio at Intermediate level. Can I supply the portfolio directly to the AAT for verification? Are there any training centres out there who will charge a minimum fee? I have already been quoted £400 by one centre but feel it's a bit excessive considering I have all the text and assessment books.
