Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
Now I really do feel old - my SON will be 20 on Christmas Day!!!:crying:0 -
Well, I've handed over all my work, so apart from the panic phone calls from my replacement, I'm just doing tying-up bits and bobs here. Not in much next week as I finally have an interview and then there's the farewell lunch and the Xmas party.
Ooh, redundant at Christmas. Not as bad as it sounds!0 -
Work is slow here aswell and looks like job losses here too (might not be such a bad thing), but on the plus side......I :001_tt1: LOVE christmas.
Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.0 -
Wish I could say work was slow, it's anything but. Plenty of VAT returns to do and not enough time. That's what happens when the boss decides to move office a couple of weeks before Xmas and the damned computers don't work for a week. I've been doing vat returns the old fashioned way, with pen and paper.
Anyway, enough of my gripes
A Very Merry Christmas and an extremely Happy New Year to everyone in AAT land, be you trainee or full qual.0 -

Me again!!!
Have been amassing Christmas presents to put under my tree. I am doing quite well! Does anybody know how to roast gammon ham in an electric oven? Sorry but without a chef around and friends coming over I don't know what to do!!!
All I need now is a handsome Santa to play charades with.................0 -
I'd reckon pretty much the same way as in a gas oven :001_tongue:
Anyway, here's a recipe http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/516007
I'm afraid I'd never fit down your chimney... don't really qualify on the handsome front either :001_unsure:0 -
Hi CJC,
As I don't have a chimney you probably found the wrong house this afternoon when you came to deliver my Christmas present that I asked you for when I wrote to you at the North Pole (remember - the LK Bennett Boots?).
Thanks for the Christmas recipe anyway. Handsome men are also found carrying bottles of whiskey and coal on New Year's Eve...............I shall just have to wait until then.
Regards,
Jayne ;-).0 -
