    i agree 100%.

By the way i have also passed in MAC, DFS and PTC. Just have to submitt the case study and then AAT is done but i might take BTC as then i'll get exemptions in tax paper in ICAEW/AACA.

Anyways congrats to everyone who's passed.

As far as I knew AAT BTC and PTC does not exempt you from ACCA Business tax. ACCA will include groups and overseas tax.

I can promise you that AAT tax papers will not exempt you from business tax at ACCA. I did both tax papers at AAT and still had to do tax at ACCA.

However having said that it does make the ACCA paper a damn site easier!

    Hi Wow,

    It's ACCA and not AACA(apologies).

Anyways i'll be going for ICAEW most probably and for that if i take up Business Tax also then i will get exemption. Not very sure about ACCA exemptions.

Can you or anyone suggest which among the two, Kaplan or BPP is better for ICAEW???

Which qualification is better/more highly regarded? ACCA or ICAEW?

Haven't heard much about the ICAEW. I know what it stands for, but what's the difference :confused1:

ACA is better for practise from what I have seen in experience and has a slight upper edge esp for a chartered practise. ACCA is better for the public sector as well as CIMA.

Only difference is that to do ACA your employer needs to have a Chartered training contract.
