Starting on my Own

Afternoon all
I'm close to finishing my tech year, passed everything and feeling confident (famous last words).
My friend is just starting his own business and has asked me to do his accounts for him. Does anyone know if I'm ok to do this or do I have to wait until I'm qualified? Also, does it matter if it's a Ltd. company?
Thanks for your help

I would contact the AAT direct, when I queried if I could start up on my own they were very helpful, it does take a while for someone to get back to you.0
