Has anyone sat AAT payroll at the same time as AAT, well studied I mean not done the exams all at once?
I really want to do payroll in that way that children want to do things - now now now!! Seriously though I'd like to do it and I am sort of thinking about doing the 1st level in december maybe ad slotting it around AAT, is that just too much?

Depends at what level you are now, how much work you are prepared to put in, how easy you are finding it and if you have any experience in payroll.
I haven't done payroll - its on my list of things to do - but I do know that at technician level there is a lot of work to get through.
If you haven't got many exams in dec, you could study both over spring/summer and do level 1 payroll. It is doable, if you put the work in !0 -
hi, m doing AAT level 3 and payroll level 2 just started the course in february.
few of my freinds have done level 3 first and r now doing level 2, they said no continuity between 2 levels of payroll i would have done that only if i got that advice last sept.
it also depends how easy you find technician level if u can cope with both well go for it

Really does depend on which modules you are doing. I did level 3 payroll at the same time as Personal and Business tax and actually found that both courses complimented each other.0

I have just finished studying Accounts Level 3 at the same time as doing Payroll Level 2. I didn't find it too bad but I only work part time. Dont think it would be manageable if you were full time. Next year Im doing Level 4 Accounts and Level 3 Payroll so Im a glutton for punishment.
There are certain modules you wont have to do twice as they overlap- health and safety is only done once and the computer module in Level 3 accounts was the same as level 3 payroll as I have an extra 8 weeks off.0
