Just to let you know - there is at least one fault on HMRC's new self-assessment tax return software, which means that some returns cannot be filed yet (using their software). The IT department at HMRC are working on it this week. Don't bother ringing the helpline because they haven't even seen the new format yet!!! Good old HMRC! :001_rolleyes:

I am impressed TC,:001_smile:
I usually get my one in early as well but I have got bogged down with payroll his year.
By the way, has anyone else noticed that HMR&C keep changing the position of the log on screen on their web site? It is probably only me but sometimes find I have to search around quite a bit.

Just checked HMRC's "service issues" page and the submission problem is still there. How long can it take the IT experts to sort this out?0

VAT online is down now:cursing:0

Great, the Service Issues page says that the problem has been resolved, but...no...exactly the same problem still exists. Submission failure!
