Hi, I'm a member of the AAT and hoping to become a MIP soon. Just wondering if anyone had advice on the best way to advertise their services?
Thanks

When you are starting out free advertising is always best. Thomson Local, Yell.com and your local shop window are all good places to start.0

I found a small Line ad in the local free bee 'The Friday Ad' to be a good source of new feeds.

Thanks for that, didn't realise they done free listings.
I was wondering about printing up some leaflets and dropping through letterboxes. Has anyone had much response from this method? or would it just annoy people (more junk mail!!)0 -
I did the leaflet drops via the local free papers, but to be honest it did not generate any business at all!! Its boring, but word of mouth is definitely the best.... not very helpful when you are staring up, I know - but once you get a couple under your belt, you'd be amazed how they pass your details on. Good Luck...:001_smile:0
