PCR - Limiting Factors
I would then work out what the limiting factor is and apply all the other variables e.g. if there are only a certain amount of labour hours available, work out what is the maximum production with those hours in mind.

Give me a shout if you need more help or email me an example if you like

Annette0 -

I don't understand what you mean when you say original production budget. Probably me being thick but you work out the whole budget again with the limiting factor in place. The question usually tells you what the constraint is i.e. labour hours can be x amount but you can only buy y amount of material so you work the figures through to find the limiting factor.

Have a look at the old exam papers to see if there is an example you want to work through. I possibly have answers to all except the last one (the one I took) but I don't have them in electronic form so would need to type them out.

Which text book are you using, we used FTC?0 -
