Changing Careers (or How do I rework this CV)

Morning everyone,

I'm in the process of changing careers now. Having been a chef for close to 16 years, I feel it's time to make a change.

I've been doing the "accountancy" side of the job now for some time so moving into the field seems like a natural progression. That, and I rather enjoy crunching figures.

My dilemma is this, after 16 years in the Hospitality industry, my CV is very much skills focused. While I can highlight the bookkeeping side of my job, I'm concerned about the gap this will leave in my CV.

If anyone out there has faced a similar dilemma and is willing to share any advice, I'm happy to listen.
