i failed both skill test, whats gonna happen if i pass both exams and fail the skill test? is it still a pass or a fail?

tutor said i need to do additional question the week after the exams

if i passed my exams, can i retake my skill test in Jan? or would i have to wait until next summer?

Usually with skills tests, if you don't quite reach the required standards your tutor can give you some additional questions, this could even be in the form of oral questioning. Providing you get these questions correct, they should be in a position to pass you without having to re-sit.

Also, unlike exams, you don't have to wait 6 months to re-take them, so if you have failed, once your tutor is satisfied that you are ready to take another test, you will be able to do so.

When you say 'skills test' I assume you mean what I know as the 'Devolved Assessment'? (2 for ECR and one for FRA)

If so, a lady in my class at college failed one of her ECR devolved late '06 yet passed the exam last June - she has only just retaken the devolved and passed.

So it's not all doom and gloom.
