please can anyone help me.. tomorrow i have the exam if unit 15 and as i was studying i was stuck. can anone explain exaxtly what gilts, leasing and hire purchase are exactly please. bucause they are confusing me. :ohmy:

I basically describe leasing as acquiring an asset and paying for its use by an agreed regular amount to a finance company
and an hp agreement isn't a lot different

Contractually hp requires you to make a final payment to then own the asset
in practice a leasing company may agree to you owning the asset too after a period of lease payments
