Sorry Nicola
Just having a laugh. But seriously, all I can say is:
1) Read and re-read the dates given in the question to make sure what is there relates to the current tax year.
2) Remember that rental income and expenditure is calculated on the accruals basis. This also means that if you receive a charge in the current tax year but it relates to an event in the prior year you should not include it in your calculation.
3) Don;t forget that ISA's and National Savings Certificates are exempt from income tax.
4) Don;t forget that wasting chattels are exempt from CGT.
Hope this all helps.
I am also sitting PTC on Friday so wish me luck.
Good luck to you all.

All of it!!
I hate exams :-(
I did two papers last night and was fine :-) and it only took an hour
Are you ok with it all?0 -
Hi Nicola
I think I am solid on all of the PTC stuff. Even, for once, the theory. I love personal tax. It is my last exam and I think I left the easiest one for last. I hope I am right about that and Friday's paper isn't an evil one.
It sounds to me like you will be fine.
Where do you study?

I do it as distance learning, ! Find it quite hard to motivate myself! But i will be sitting 3 exams in Dec, not looking forward to that :mad2:
But will be glad when its all done
Good luck to you,,,once again0
