can u claim back all of input tax (sales are zero rated) or is it only certain receipts allowed?
I have receipts from shops etc where vat has been paid but vat info says not all receipts are vat receipts and therefore not all is reclaimable. how would u get a vat receipt or can you not?
Thanks for any help, sorry its sounds like a silly question but its best to double check

From experience receipts that say they are not a vat receipt are from garages for fuel, it is possible to get vat receipts from garages, just ask. I know supermarkets done seperate vat out on them, its just common sense needed there. And it totally depends on the type of business it is whether all vat is reclaimable.
Hope I sort of help!0
