Provision or Bad Debt

Can anyone help

I would like some advice why would an accountant in year end account make a provision for a bad debt which is over three years old and the company is no longer in existence rather than just writing off as a bad debt

any comments would be welcome

    No real difference in the end result so probably an oversight. Tell him/her to get rid of it next year :001_smile:
