<BR><BR>I've just opened my business tax textbook for the first time since getting full technician study pack from FTC last week, and oh my god all the rates and allowances, there is no way i can remember these by June.<BR><BR>Please somebody tell me its not as bad as i think!!<BR><BR>Sorry for whinging i know most people feel like this at some point.

    Its not as bad as you think !<BR><BR>Tax always looks daunting but you should draw comfort from the fact that it is one of the most prescribed topics you will study in accountancy. There really isn't any room for interpretation. Most if not all of the rates/thresholds are provided in any examination. From personal experience the hardest part of business taxation is remembering which type of income goes into which schedule of the corporation tax return.<BR><BR>Best of luck !<BR><BR>David

    Business tax (which I passed in December -thank god) is OK, the problem I had was remembering dates. Capital gains is a big area for date remembering eg shares.<BR><BR>
