Hi
Some people are saying that they have received a letter from the AAT saying they have passed theirs exams and now they are "Affiliate Members".
Apparently they got them on the 8 August 2008. Did anyone else get this letter.
I will be gutted if I have failed PTC as I found it really easy and it is my last exam. But now I think I have failed because I did not get this letter.

Not quite the full story - the letter is a subscription renewal notice briefly mentioning that you are an affiliate member - NOT a letter saying that you have passed your exams and are now an affiliate member.
This will only be received by those with renewal dates in october0 -

But Affiliates have to have passed all exams. And your letter said you had completed your exams.0

Don't worry Speegs I'm sure you will have passed. If it's any consolation I haven't received a letter and I have been able to apply for full membership. (I was only waiting for the unit 10 project to be received by the AAT). I only had to pay £25 for the full membership because my subscription isn't due yet.
Fingers crossed for everyone's results.0 -
But Dee, I haven't received a letter and I can't apply for membership. Although the AAT did ask for my work experience and to nominate a professional referee.0

You'll be able to apply as soon as you have your results. You were sounding so confident before, don't lose that now - only a few more days to go. I'm still waiting for my PTC results even though I don't need it any more but I'm still nervous as I don't want to fail.
This letter sounds as though it's just assuming that they will have passed but it's only asking for them to renew their membership.
Are you going on to study ACCA?0 -
Hi Dee
I am trying to remain confident but I forgot the write the due date for corporation tax on the last question. As stupid mistake on such as easy question. I am so annoyed with myself for missing that.

Corporation tax in a PTC exam?
You seem to worry too much speegs, at the end of the day, I messed up a few questions in my December PTC exam and still passed, you should be ok!
All the best for Tuesday :001_smile:0 -
Sorry - Dope - I mean capital gains tax. :thumbup:0
