I have failed section 2 on both PEV and DFS, I have decided to appeal both. I felt question 2.2 was a dreadful question that was poorly written and have no idea how I failed Section 2 of DFS as I thought I'd done really well.
If enough of us appeal they may look into this.
Also I'd like to know if those who'd received the letter implying they'd passed had passed. Also why did some peoples e-mails say Dec 2007 when mine said June 08?
Sorry I sound so bitter and twisted :mad2:

How long does the appeal process take?0

I think it said 4 weeks on the form. I debated it but then figured that even it came back as a pass it has still ruined things coz my ACCA course was due to start on the 31st Aug so would come back too late0

I know where you're coming from as I'd hoped to start CIMA but don't think like that. Remember how much time and effort it took for those exams, if we appeal and then it's successful perhaps there may be another way ahead.
Think positive, can't decide if I'm in denial but not willing to admit defeat yet:thumbup1:
Is there a form to fill in or was it just the e-mail I've sent?0 -
Poppy, I completley agree, I failed PEV and cannot think why at all, im so very angry and upset!!

Pev
Hi guys,
In my class at college 4 of us out of 6 have failed PEV. We are all totally gutted as most of us were confident. Cant believe it0 -

I failed DFS Section 2 when i felt fairly confident of passing i shall definately appeal if not to get it overturned but to give me piece of mind. You send a blank email to appeals@aat.org.uk and they attach a word document in reply which you need to fill in and send back by sept 21. I know it mucks up ACCA but at least you haven't got the hassle of sitting again in december if they do get overturned.
Please we gotta appeal otherwise you have no chance?0 -
Im appealing PEV for sure, im sure I did make mistakes but its worth querying it just incase, even if its only a small chance they will pass me!0

Also, a lady that I work with said that last year her paper got remarked as she was border line and sent her an email to say she had passed, and she didnt even appeal!0
