Full Membership questions

Hi there

Right, I have completed all 3 NVQ levels and am now ready to apply for full membership - however, as I have been a fulltime student for 3 years and not worked (except in a voluntary role with my local parochial church council) how do I nominate a professional referee and submit work experience? I can't get a job - having applied for 60 -70 in the last month-6 weeks.

Any help/advice gratefully received.

You need a years work experience - if you have worked part time then you have to pro rata it i.e. I worked for 3 years to get 1 years full time equivalent work experience.

If you are a full time student, I don't think you will have got enough hours from voluntary work to apply for full membership.

Is that the case?

Thanks for your swift reply Blue Wednesday. No I only 'work' 3 - 5 hours a week doing the books and associated tasks so I really couldn't provide full time evidence. I just have to try to get work in a finance role then - this should be interesting..............
