Cash book & double entry

Hi<BR><BR>Can anyone help me please - If I am entering payments through the cash book and it's not part of the double entry process. Am I correct in thinking I have to post payments through the bank & then minic to cash book?<BR><BR>Rocky

    Cash book & double entry

    Any payments through the cash book are part of the double entry, therefore you would have to post in the normal manner.
