Only my opinion but id say AAT, because if you go on to study ACCA for example dont you get the same exemptions from AAT as you do uni? so in a years time you could be studying ACCA but with uni it will be 3-4 years i guess. Although i supose it depends what your plans after AAT or uni would be

In my opinion you will be mad to go to uni for following reasons

    UNIVERSITY

    -3 year course
    -harder than technician level
    -Average of £15,000-£20,000 debt

    AAT TECHNICIAN

-1 year course for same exemptions
-No debt (I assume your work is paying)
    -Already done foundation & intermediate
so know the layouts and what to
    expect.
