AAT in The USA

Hi.

I was wondering that after completing AAT technician, is the qualification recognised in the United States if you wanted to work there? I’m assuming it probably isn’t. So does anyone know what you would have to do in order to cross over to a similar standard over there? Is there a route to continue to study?

Thanks.

No, sorry. It's probably worth emailing the AAT and asking. It might be memberservices@aat.org.uk?

I am not aware of AAT being officially recognised in Florida, but the skills you can demonstrate as a result of completing the AAT are welcomed by many employers.
If you go on to CPA exams you'll find the AAT knowledge will give you a very good start. The same applies to CMA.
