Annoyed at this mornings Post

I have just picked up my post this morning to receive an invitation to the Higher Education Awards Day that my college is putting on, having failed DFS and PEV this setting I have found this very upsetting hence the rant. Can't believe they don't seem to have a clue what's going on. Bad enough to have failed the exams but to have a letter like that with the pretty brochure of what the day will be like was horrendous.
The only good thing is I'm now quite confident of getting onto my works CIMA programme, but will still take the AAT December resits.
I know mistakes happen but really could have done without it :crying:

Please don't get upset!
Where is your sports man sprit?
Would you not want to congratulate and wish well to those who have successfully achieved?
These events are not meant to be patronising but inspirational.
By attending these you will will receive the drive to succeed in December exams. Please attend and show your sports man sprit. You will feel much better and humble.
A successful man MUST fail at some point to be inspired to ACHIEVE. Get up with new zeal and conquer.0 -
Hi Visha,
I would love to go to support my friends who have achieved the qualification, my issue is the first line said I'd achieved my qualification and invited myself and my family to see me get my award. This isn't correct so who the heck do they think I am or who on earth is up dating the records.
Just think its extremely poor taste to send these out with out checking their facts.
Really pleased for all those who have passed :thumbup:0 -
Hi Poppy
Where did you study??? You don't have to give the name if you don't what just the region, cos I had mine on Saturday too and maybe we went to the same place.

I seem to remember, many moons ago, that Financial Training (FT) and Hayes landed themselves in very hot water because Hayes sent every exam candidate a congratulatory letter the day BEFORE the exam results came out. Needless to say those that failed were doubly disappointed.
I seem to recall FT being chastised for selling their candidate list to the recruitment consultants.0 -
I study at one of the City of Bristol College Campus, can't wait to go home and get my e-mails open and see what response they had to e-mail. It's really unjustifiable, these people really should know whether we've passed or not or is that asking too much????0

Hi Poppy
I'm from Shropshire so no we don't go to same college:001_smile:.
My college received a list of telling them who passed etc so im sure your college probably had the same and the error was more than likely human and involved not reading properly :001_rolleyes:.
