i'm doing costing at the moment (new standards) and was wondering if there is anyone that has already done this does it include standard costs? its been taught to us but it doesn't seem to be in my costing text book. i just wanted to know if it is worth spending time on.

Confusion<BR>I teach cost accounting.<BR>There are 3 costing units on each scheme. I gather you are studying the new syllabus. Are you a technician student or an intermediate student?<BR>or even are you at the foundation stage?<BR>At intermediate the unit is now called Recording and evaluating costs and revenues (ECR) and this does NOT include standard costing or variance analysis<BR><BR>sandy.hood@chichester.ac.uk<BR><BR>0
