Hi All, :001_smile:

Am i correct in saying that i cannot become a member of AAT even if i have completed all units of the diploma course because of no work experience?!

thanks

That's right, everyone has to have a full years (full time equivalent) work experience before becoming a member.

Then you have the experience, you just need to get it signed off by your employer.

I think the criteria quoted by the AAT is that the job you do (for which you are claiming as your experience) must be at least 50% of time spent on accounting.

So yes, in your case, you will be able to use this as your experience.
