Would the AAT Accounting Qualification help in any way to gain the American Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Qualification?

    Hiya,

    I have also briefly looked into this as I may possibly work in USA in a few years time.

    From what I could tell, AAT does not give you any exemptions and having CIMA/ACCA/ACA does not fully exempt you from CPA or CMA (management accountant) - you still have to sit a few exams to convert into CPA/CMA.
