Hi all,
I am in the process of completing a tax return for a client who has (along with 2 sisters) just sold a property gifted to them by their father 12 years ago. The problem is that they have no idea what the property was worth when it was gifted. How do I get around that?
Thanks
Kel

A local estate agent or surveyor will be able to give you the value of the property at the time it was gifted.0
