Hey,

I am interested to see how the self employed accountants get their clients. I have advertised on my local business website and I have also put my cards in the local post offices. Any other ideas?

Thanks

Carl

    Hi,

I'm not a MIP but some ways I can think of off hand which may help are:
    • Local directories and publications
    • Contact local accountancy firms, see if they need any help
    • Do you have your own web site? Marketed correctly with the right SEO and you could easily be top in your local area on search engines
    • Do some free work for somebody, perhaps a hobby organisation or local voluntary work?
    • Network at AAT events + other business events (also fulfilling your CPD requirements)
    • Join a chamber network and attend their breakfast meetings etc. (they also sometimes have a tender service for members)

    Good luck!

    Ecademy.com

My business might have failed at the outset if I didn't find this site. Great source of clients.
