I don't know if it is too early to get worried yet as I only started advertsing my business on Saturday, but I am worried that my prices may be too high and that is the reason i don't have clients yet.

please check out my site

Thanks

Your prices for accounts prep are certainly not too high. The rate for bookkeeping depends on where you live I guess but £20 should not put anyone off.

If you only started advertising on Saturday then do not be upset that you have not got any clients four days later!

I think it was 3 or 4 weeks before my first client signed up and that was after I ditched my job and committed to self-employment full-time!

    Hi Carl

A VAT return for £25.00 looks a bit low. Will that just be the return or are you intending to add some bookkeeping onto that?

Also why have two rates for bookkeeping?

Nice house by the way, yours?

    Thanks for the comments.

Unfortunately the house is not mine as I rent it.

How much should I charge for a VAT per quarter?

    Thanks
