Hi
I was wondering if there was a question on producing a published income statement in the exam. Would the answer be correct if I apportioned the expenses wrongly into Distribution costs and admin expenses but at the same time get the profit amount and all the other figures correct?
Help appreciated

You might lose a mark but I would not worry about the finer details. The important part is your approach and showing your workings. Such an error would certainly not constitute a fail in its entirety.
Kind regards
