Goods For own use - BTC

I have come across "Goods for own use" - I believe this is to be calculated in the disallowable expenditures. I have read about it in the kaplan books and i am confused. Would it be possible if someone could shed some light on it for me please or find an easy way of remembering what to do lol Thank You:laugh:
