Help !!! PEV formula, how do you remember them all?

I am having real trouble remembering all of the formula for the variances:

Labour rate, labour efficiency, material price, material usage etc, and all of the overhead variances..... volume, capacity, efficiency!

Although i have all of these written down, i have to refer to them every time i do the past papers.

Does anyone have any tips for an easy way to remember them, as obviously i cannot take the formula into the exam with me on Monday?
