Request for forum moderater to explain

As this was deleted would someone enlighten me please?

Was the December 08 exam considered more difficult than those before ? I ask because we are preparing for JUNE 09 ECR and some of the past papers look a tad (dare I say it outloud!!:eek:) easy!!!

I did the ECR in December and it was considered to be harder than any before, some of the questions had not been covered over our course, I think they lowered the pass level because of this.

I did pass not entirely sure how but maybe this is why ??!!!

Not sure whether things are changing, but we didnt cover any of the questions that were on the actual exam in our course, its the same with CIMA as well, they seem to expect you to be able to apply your knowledge of the syllabus to different scenarios :thumbup:

I am distance learning via Kaplan and there was only one small item in the December exam which was not covered in their text book and I just used common sense for it.

I actually found the exam okay.

Panicking about PCR & PEV examsthough as struggling to get through the text book, only getting near end of Unit 8 and not started on Unit 9 yet.

Thanks guys,

Our lecturer gave us a test on ECR last night - we get marked 'green, red or amber' as a measure of how were we are for the exam!! What fun!
