Good morning. Does anyone have any feedback on the exam yesterday afternoon, in particular balancing the P35 with the figure given for Tax/NI already paid? I would love to hear from you.
Many thanks

Hello Beckie,
Thank goodness somebody else did the CYE, at the college I had to travel 50 miles to get to, I was the only candidate.
As far as I remember, (I checked 3 times) there was an overpayment of 170 something pounds, I could be wrong.
What was your answer for e-filing P11ds, and the £750 target related gift?
Regards
Graham

Hi Graham,
Thanks for replying, it was so good to hear that you got an overpayment of £170ish as well. I checked my figures at least half a dozen times !!!!
The £750 prize I put in the 2nd box (first page, after assets transferred) as she had paid by her own personal credit card and this was then paid by the company, not sure that was right though.
What did you put for the answer for the electronic filing of P11d/P9d's ?
Whilst we are on the subject what did you put down as examples for personal incidental expenses?
Look forward to hearing from you soon.0 -

Hi Beckie,
I wasn't sure about the £750 gift and put it in section M, but suspect I got it wrong. For e-filing P11D/ P9Ds I chose "not compulsory", I'm not sure about the choice, and for Personal Incidental Expenses I basically put the amounts (£5 in UK, £10 abroad), but I think a description was wanted.
What did you put?

Hi
I also had 170 0ver on my P35
I put the money that she won in the credit card section as it says that the employer paid the credit card company in full, but don't know if this is correct.
I put Magazines
Dinner if staying overnight in hotel
A Small bottle of wine
I don'T know if this is what they wanted
I put 5 pounds is the rate
I also put that there was no automated system for P11 etc
