Hi i have a client that i have been doing his book keeping for and he wants to end his Ltd company and continue doing the same thing as a sole trader. Can anyone please let me know what i need to do to start the ball rolling. He has no debts, he just wants to change to a sole trader, because the business isn't taking a lot of money. Many Thanks :001_smile:

He would need to complete final accounts for the Ltd company and then ensure all creditors are paid before completing a form 652 "application to strike off", to remove the company from Companies House. There is a filing fee of £10 for this form.
Alternatively if he thinks he may use the company in the future he could keep the company and file annual dormant accounts.0 -
Many thanks0
