Are you guys talking about case study? I will be doing on it as well.Got the last unit 10 simulation from my tutor today. Am going to read it at least few times, highlight main points, and start thinking about project title, start drawing plan etc.
About organizational charts, i think you could mention in introduction part, and include it in appendix.0 -
Drawing organisation charts helps to identify formal paths of communication and also highlight issues where communication is occurring between departments.0

well been told last night at college a flowchart is needed ?0

Not meaning to sound mean....but seriously!
All the rest of us have got through with advice only from this forum and not simply asking for other people's copies to show them what to do, which may i add is strongly discouraged by the AAT. How about reading study books or going on the AAT Website, that gives you loads of help with Unit 10 and how to set it out.
I am sorry if i have annoyed people, but i do hope that others shall back me up on my stand?0 -
I really don't see what the issue is, some people need a nudge in the right direction to get started. I'm sure a competent assessor can judge as to whether a report is the student's own work or simply a reproduction of someone elseโs. Studying my A levels we were able to look at previous successful reports to get an idea of the content and structure required.0
-
Have any of you looked at http://www.aat.org.uk/students/content/item3167/
The report writing guide gives you a contents of what the report should include and then follows with quite a detailed description of each section, this should be all you need.
Troy's right, requesting copies of completed projects is frowned upon and can constitute cheating. If you're struggling with the unit you should be asking your tutors and fellow forumers for help and guidance, not putting yourself at risk by being suspected of copying another students report!0 -
Thank you Gem,
After all i would not refuse help, but there is a difference between help and giving some one a completed project. Even Speegs said 'surely you should have started this by now'!
Please, I am not being mean, there is enough help on line from the AAT and study books. I am giving away my study books from Unit 10 with college notes for free (except p&p).

We're a friendly bunch, everybody is willing to help where they can :001_smile: I think the hardest part of the project is coming up with the idea in the first place (if you're not doing a simulation).
You had books and college notes?! All I had was that flipping link I posted before!0 -

aarghhh its horrible!! i hate it! think its pointlesss0

I would be grateful if anyone could send any info to me. I have been putting this off for so long. I was lucky enough to pass all my exams first time but when it comes to things like this I am completely useless. I have been on the website and looked through books. A completed project would be ideal just to see how things should look!
