Income Tax Personal Allowance to £10K

I saw a note online somewhere about the possibility of the PA going up to £10K. Anyone else heard about this?

    Hi TC

    Just come across the answer to this today;

    This £10,000 PA was announced in the 2007 budget and it is to take effect by 2011-12 - for anyone aged 75 and over!
