Self Assessment Returns Confirmations???

Is anyone else seem to be have a longer and longer delay on the email confirmtions coming through??

I understand that the time of year everyone will be filing their returns at the lat minet just wanted to check it was that.

    we submit via ptp and the emails hadn't come through by the time I left work whereas usually they are instantly there.

    I think they're up to about a six hour or so delay coming through now. No great shakes - your software should give you an instant confirmation.

    Absolutely Dean, we get confirmation straight away but I do like that HMRC email!!

    I have to say I wasn't too worried about it - just glad we're not using the IR website like we did last year (dinosaur for a boss that needs persuading where new technology is concerned)! Bless him.
