Its usually best to buy new books, especially for the june exam as rules change each year, so books only really last for 2 exams.
I would personally buy new ones as it guarentees that the information is what you need to be learning for the exam.0 -
Any second hand tax books you buy won't be any good for the June exams as they will be based on the previous year. Admittedly there are few year on year changes, but there will be a number of differences in terms of rates and rules.
EDIT: What Garry said, his post wasn't there when I clicked reply.0 -
dont buy second hand unless it from same year !!0

the reason for this post was i thought it would be a good idea as a way to learn myself more about personal tax and business tax, just to learn the basics really. as i have just started out as self employed and didnt know much about tax a part from paye and vat.
so i guess this wouldnt be suitable for my needs?0
