Gordo is doing a kitchen nightmare in the 'village' I lived in up intil a couple of months ago in a restaurant I've eaten in. Oh the shame! :blushing:
Look out for me on tv!!

The man lost all my respect when he started advertising Gordon's gin. Gordon's is to gin what McDonald's is to food.
So, what was the food like in this place?0 -
It was about 4 years ago that we went, before the bistro was there and it was just the cafe, and I had a soggy pasty with beans and Ben had soggy fish with peas :tongue_smilie:
But big Mick buys a brand spanking new car every 6 months! It's no wonder he's in so much debt!
Gordo didn't knock on our door and invite us to the re-opening and they didn't show the bit of us walking past the kitchen with our waitrose shopping0 -
We know he only swears for the cameras anyway as surely someone who's that rude to everyone would have been put firmly in his box a long long time ago.
Not sure Gordon Ramsey ever had my respect Chris but at least he's marginally better than that smug tw@t Jamie Oliver... God, I could hurt him at times.0 -
Have I got no taste? I prefer Gordons over all the other gins!0

We purposefully went to waitrose instead of lidl in case they put us on tv!0

I do miss having a Waitrose. I guess that's what you get for living in a godforsaken town in a barely civilised place like Cornwall.0 -
hey noubt wrong with lidl0
-
We go to sainsburys now cos their basics stuff is cheaper and better quality than the lidl foreign crap. There's an Aldi going up near me soon so might try there, anyone know what it's like?0

If they haven't built it yet, how can anyone tell you Gem?
Okay, I'm being pedantic. I don't think Aldi's too bad though I do draw the line at Lidl. Shock horror, I even sometimes shop at Icelands!
I don't shop at Sainsbugs or Waitrose as you're paying for the name of the shop with their celebrity TV adverts not the products you buy in it and I try to avoid Tesco out of sheer principle.0 -
I avoid tescos too, I don't want them to take over the world. Unfortunately the only other supermarket we've got is somerfield and it's really small and very expensive. But we'll give Aldi a go :001_smile:0

A-Vic Marks and Spencers is posh
Asda and Tescos had a big barney here over a bit of land - some cheek Tescos already had 2 stores in Kilmarnock, Asda had none.
How many stores do Tescos need in one town?0 -
got one virtually at the bottom of my road...which is quite cool and one right next to my work.....
