Hi Guys,
Just wondered if anyone has any idea where there is a printable template of the profit and loss account and balance sheets for use with the exercises in the osborne workbook chapter 5.
The one that is in the book is to complicated with to much information on it and hardly anything is needed when completing the workbook exercises.

Thanks
Keith

To be honest you are better drafting your own each time, the more times you do it it becomes second nature as to where things go.

Try the Osbourne site on the web...they have templates that you can down load.....not sure if P/L and B/S there....but it is worth a try...

There is a danger that you become too reliant on templates and, when asked to draw up a P&L or B/S from scratch, you cannot remember certain elements or their place in the whole picture. As Blue Wednesday said, draw up your own each time. The amount of time a template saves is minimal and the mroe you do it the better understanding you will have of the whole picture.

It's easy to draw them up when you get to used to it.

that is right, i need to remember the layout the best thing rather than use template which mean in exam you will not provide template but blank then what will you do!?
