Year End Madness

I have just proved that year end procedures can ACTUALLY send you insane. Taking a break for five minutes from clearing out balance sheet accounts, took the kettle off the element to refill, put it back on ON THE WINDOWSILL and tried to turn it on no less than five times, surprisingly with less than successful results, and lots of frustrated sighs! I even tried that thing you do - pressing the button a bit harder. Grr.

Well, at least I'm not alone. Last evening I came out of the shower looked at my wrist and realized I'd forgotten to put my watch back on - it wasn't until I'd gone to look for it I remembered I wear my watch on my left wrist.
I think I'd better go have one of those Alzheimer's tests :001_unsure:0 -
Paul, can you please ensure not to post serious accounts related stuff on the Off-Topic forum in the future? I nearly got a nosebleed from reading it. Surely, this topic better belongs within the MIP threads to stir them from their tax-related talking? Go and hijack their bloody boards with your year end piffle...0

Blob,
Nice to see your takin time out from being miserable, oh no my mistake. Why dont you try for once to bring a light hearted comment to these forums, instead of trying to make everyone else as miserable as you come across, starting to think toadface may have been right....0 -
Watches as a particularly dry piece of blobbyh humour flies 100 feet over Paul's head.
At least I think it was meant to be humorous, well I hope it was meant as humorous.0 -
Paulie, remember our LIFO debate when we first met? When in your case it'll have to be last in first out my fricking window...
... and you were still wrong all along but won't admit it as usual, damn Brummie...0 -

Ummm...hoist on my own petard. Just put it down to spending too much time wrestling with java web programming today making my brains turn to jelly.0

No-one takes our 'argument' seriously Paul. We need Ann Marie on here, she'd have put us right...0
