Has anyone used an online estate agent to sell their property?

Thanks for your reply Cullen. I'm in a dilemma as to whether to use an online agent who charges approx. £700 as opposed to a high street agent who wants 1.5% of the selling price. It would save a lot of money using an online but the high st. agents normally have waiting buyers on their books. I think online agents would be the way forward in the future but for now I know of only one person who has sold through them.0

A lot of high street estate agents also post online by using www.rightmove.com and others, so if you went to the right ones, your property would get posted on the web anyway. And at least if you use the high street and don't sell, they can't charge you the 1.5%0
