Aged Debtor Analysis

Ok... here's an easy question for a Sunday afternoon...
does an aged debtor analysis use the gross or net invoice values (re. VAT)?
Looking at the figures I have, I think it's net of VAT, but before I carry on with the calculation I thought I'd better check with you guys.
Thanks

Thanks Peter. I did the calculation Gross in the end. The thing that confused me was figures from the previous month's aged debtors report were all rounded - very similar to the net value of the product being sold. I suppose Osborne do this to make us think!
Thanks again for your post.0
