    o and the fact ive just spent a week up the north east and three of their teams are under religation threat ive heard nothing but footy for them five days so if ok matt can i continue the no football thread with your kind permission of course :glare:

    I'm not a huge F1 fan but I'll watch it if I've nothing better to do. I'm with you on the cricket though Paul, BBC should have said stuff the petrolheads and put up (I nearly wrote 'stumped-up' there) the cash to get the cricket back on the proper telly.

    Still, a summer's day in the garden, a large G&T and TMS on the wireless, bliss.

    Any game that you can play for 5 days and still have a draw, is not a sport

    I dont believe a hobby and a sport are mutually exclusive, however I did refer to it as a game I think :-)
